Thinning Hair Solutions

Start practicing these thinning hair solutions today!

That day you look into the mirror and you see that your hair is thinning or you have spots that the hair is completely absent, is the day you need to take action.

I was motivated to help other women find thinning hair solutions especially around the edges and nape area because I know that’s a big issue in the African American community.

I see so many hairstyles and hair routines that create the loss of hair because there is a lack of education on how the styles should be maintained. However there are many more reason for hair loss and hair thinning.

My main problems was the fact that I have never had thinning hair or edges, well at least I did not until…I was diagnosed with Cancer and had to received radiation treatments. That’s when all my edges and nape area fell out.

So I knew that once I fought my Cancer and beat it, my focus was to get myself back to “my normal”. One of my normal’s was natural black hair care.

1. Increased healthy foods into your diet

Don’t every under estimate the power of great foods. Some foods that will help your hair grow strong include: Iron-Rich Veggies (broccoli, brussels sprouts, tomatoes and green and red pepper, spinach) Almonds, Eggs, Lean Protein (turkey, chicken, fish), Legumes, Grapes, Avocados, Raisins and Oranges Olive Oil Cayenne Pepper.

2. Hair Vitamins

If you find that you are still not able to get in all the essential vitamins from your diet, then it’s best to add a multi vitamin or hair vitamin into your diet to fill in any holes. This will help your body in the process of not only regrowing edges, but helping hair, skin, and nails become healthier.

3. Massage the area with natural or essential oils

This was one of my main helpers in growing my edges back. I would simply take a little bit of 100% extra virgin olive oil and I would massage my scalp concentrating on the areas that needed regrowing.

I would do this 2-3 times a week. Some other oils that help stimulate hair are Peppermint oil, Extra Virgin Coconut oil, Jojoba oil, Tea Tree oil, Rosemary Oil, and Almond oil.

After finding thinning hair solutions now find out why hair can fall out

4. Leave them alone

I know it’s tough, but it is best to try and wear a style where you want have to constantly brush your hair or a style that is easy on the edges. I would wear my hair wigs, kinky twists, wash and go puffs, and protective styles. However I would not wear my hair too tight, or place stress on these areas.

•Don’t over brush these areas

•Don’t put more erosive chemical treatments on top of thinning hair

•Don’t uses these “magic” regrow edges and regrowing hair products that contain unhealthy hair ingredients
